On Saturday evening the team got back to winning ways with a handy win in Bonniconlon. As with all games this March a gale force wind blew into the village goal which we played against in the first half.

Unlike the previous weeks game we got stuck in early and won a lot more of the breaking ball with Paul Kilcullen, Michael Langan and Patrick Naughton bossing things around the centre. The runs from deep of half backs David Carrabine and Martin Foody was also a factor. We had a number of goal chances which we spurned but at the break we were leading 0-6 v 0-4.

In the second half Kevin Langan, Niall Judge and Eamon Cawley showed their scoring prowess with Kevin Langan hitting 6 scores from play and Niall Judge scoring to the top of the net midway through the half to make the points safe. It was disappointing to the defence when the visitors scored a goal late on, however they can be happy with their improvement with Ronan Keane having a very good game.

Team: Anthony Kilcullen, Ronan Keane, David Fox, Keith Earlis, Martin Foody, Patrick Naughton, David Carrabine(0-1), Michael Langan(0-1), Paul Kilcullen, Patrick McGuinness, Kevin Langan(0-9), Stevie Kilgallon, John McDonnell, Eamon Cawley(0-3), Niall Judge(1-2). Subs: Ciaran Kilcullen, Eoin Flynn, Conor Judge, Barry Judge
