The team travelled to Kent Park on Saturday evening to
take on Drumcliffe in the fourth round of the championship. Unfortunately the teams dismal run continued. We were reduced to 14 men in the first 2 minutes the team were also under pressure having to make 5 enforced changes from the last round. We were down 6 nil after 20 minutes but Biran Howley scored a point from play and a minute
after Kevin McDonnell, making his first team debut smashed a goal to the roof of the net, to get us back into the game. Just before the break the referee missed a push on John Tuffy which led to a goal and the half time score 1-6 v 1-1. In the second half the lads worked extremely hard and despite missing two close in frees only lost 2-8 v 1-2.
