This was a game we lost in the first 20 minutes of the game when we only scored a point despite dominating and missing a number of goal scoring chances whilst playing with the wind.

Paul Flynn was controlling the game from midfield but it took our lads a time to get used of the elements with passes ending up over the endline or going to far from their target. Odhrán Quinn got the first score from play which was quickly followed by a Micheál Chaill point from near range after a quick pass from Dáire Barrins. Odhran was unlucky with a fisted effort for goal but he righted that wrong with a near replica effort a minute later. The Curry defence put a Paul Flynn effort into their own net whilst Paul added another point from play. At half time we lead 2-4 v 1-3 letting Curry score the last two scores of the half.

Curry had equalised within minutes of the restart but we began to tackle and play well and retook the lead from a Micheál Cahill free after Oisin Flynn had been fouled. With 16 minutes to go we were reduced to 12 players after two yellow cards but the lads worked very hard to equalise with Paul Flynn scoring after good work from Ronan Wilson. Niall Judge and Danny O'Hora were holding the Curry forwards from scoring and the scores were level with 6 minutes to go but the pressure told and a few quick scores saw Curry win.
