In Keash on Friday evening our U14 team went down to a physically stronger Harps team. The conditions were perfect for football. Like all games this year our lads were slow out of the blocks and let the home team into a strong early lead. It took us 14 minutes to get a constructive attack and Seán Carrabine finished after making a strong run through the centre. Seán followed this up a minute later with another score from play. At this time we played some lovely football if a bit too complicated. Luke Munnelly who is due to travel to Limerick this week with the Sligo Leitrim soccer team scored a very good point from play.

For the second half we started well scoring two quick points from Ronan Murphy and our line of Benny Foody and Paul Flynn cutting out a lot of the home attacks. However as the half wore on we began to struggle again and in the last few minutes let in a number of goals.

Team: Elliot Beardshall, Niall Judge, James Boland, Fergal Boland, Danny O'Hora, Benny Foody, Ronán Coggins, Seán Carrabine, Micheál Cahill, Paul Flynn, Luke Munnelly, Ronan Murphy, Kennth Flynn, Odhrán Quinn, Oisín Flynn. Subs: Colm Naughton, Brian Mahoney, John Hallinan, Dáire Barrins, David Coggins
