Senior Division 4:
The junior team made the trip to Templeboy to take on St. Farnan's. It was a tough match and the lads soon found themselves in trouble against a very strong team. St. Farnan's ran out the match deserved winners.

U18 Championship
The U18 team has been promoted to A2 for the championship.The other teams in their group are Tourlestrane, St. Molaise Gaels, Coolaney/Mullinabreena, St. Farnan's and Curry. First match is at home against Tourlestrane July 7th.

The U14 team visited Ballymote last Friday. Playing a big strong team, the lads found it tough but played some lovely football in both halves, with some great scores taken. The size of the players was the main difference between the sides, great hope for next year as all but one are underage again.

The U12 team hosted St. John's on Monday. The supporters were treated to a great game of football, with the scores at the end of the first two quarters 4-4 and 7-7. The next quarter saw St. John's pull away 10-7. That proved to be the decisive period as it ended 14-10. Standout players for Castleconnor were Liam Donegan and Eli O'Neill.

Frank Kelly Milk Run:
After the success of last years event this will take place on Sunday 27th July from the community centre, commencing at 3.00pm. It promises to be a wonderful day like last year.

This year's race we will be giving cash prizes to the top 3 males, the top 3 females as well as trophies for the over 40 over 50 and over 60s male and female. There is prizes also for first locals and juveniles. Plenty of fresh food and refreshments as always afterwards in community centre. Registration will be open shortly on www.runireland.com or on the day.

Cow Dung Festival 2014:
Keep the weekend of the 23rd/24th August free in your diary for our annual cow dung festival! Promises to be bigger and better this year.
